The Tally Is Final

The Pilgrimage visualized. Each pilgrim has a record of their own.

The running is done. The counting is finished.

For thirty-one days, 460 of the faithful ran toward a single number.

We asked for one lap. 24,901 miles.

The Congregation gave us 27,494.9 miles. 110.4 percent of the circuit.

5,297 activities. 205 days and 8 hours on feet, counted in sum. An average of 54.1 miles carried by each pilgrim.

The Scribes have finished the tally.

Every mile has been weighed. The hottest day on the path. The coldest. The rainiest, the foggiest. The hours the Congregation runs most. The mile that carried us past the line.

And for every name, a record of their own.

Each person who ran has a profile. Their miles. Their weather. Their hours on feet. The Ledger, opened to a single page.

This week, the stickers go out. Hundreds of them, to hundreds of you.

The path took us around the world.

Now, the stickers will travel.
